Age graded wood has the following surcharge added: 7+ years 10%; 10+ years 20%. Aged materials subject to availability.

Spruce tops from “Tonewood Swizerland”. Variously labelled by the company, most of these are from 2006/2007.
We resort material according to our own grading system, which is more consistant than the inked stamps (A, AA, or AAA). Spruce tops are graded for:
a) straight, even, fine grain
b) radial cut
c) any twisting of fibers.
